Live Sports/TV options on Indy - July 2016

Hi all,

 

Our family are on the Med Cities 14 night cruise leaving Southampton July 2nd 2016.

 

I've realised that the cruise clashes with the latter stages of the Euro 2016 Football (Soccer) tournament. The semis and final are on whilst we're on the cruise and I'd like the option to watch them.

 

I've been on the ship a couple of times before but the last time was about 6 years ago. I remember a sports bar low down in the ship next to the Karaoke booths that showed sport.

 

Is there still a place on the ship that is likely to show live sport after the refurb? Will the TV's in the room have any options? I thought about streaming on the wifi but I believe the wifi's very slow so that's not going to work.

 

Has anyone been on Indy before during a major sports tournament?

While it's not possible to predict what will be showing, Indy still shows sporting events in the On Air club, next to Studio B.

we've gone over spring break, middle of march, and during the day when they weren't showing a movie, cricket was on, so I imagine they could be showing it there as well.

You may get it that depends on if ESPN has any coverage and what other channels Inde gets, it's a major tournament in Europe so would like to think it will be shown.
