Hugh Parkey's dive op in Belize....questions

I'll be in Belize in February via the Caribbean Princess. I have booked my dives through the ship. From what I understand, the dive op (Hugh Parkey's) picks divers up directly from the ship, and returns us directly to the ship post-dives.

I always like to buy a dive t-shirt at the ports. With the Belize scenario described above, will I have an opportunity to do so?

My experience is that there is ALWAYS an opportunity to spend your money on a cruise, but I just want to be sure that I'll get a dive shirt.

Same experience. This is one of the only (maybe the only) place I'd book the cruise's dive excursion again. In part because it's about the only way to get decent diving there; but also because the Hugh Parkey staff really did make it worth it. After your dives you go to there little island, and hang out at the shop/bar/restaurant. There certainly was no pressure to buy anything, but it's there if you want it.

It's also kind of cool when all the other passengers are lined up for tender boats to have the dive boat pull up and take the small number of divers off, and head in the opposite direction from the tender boats. :)

I have always booked excursions through the ship at this port for just those reasons.

Thanks for the info about the shopping opportunities.
