Curling Irons on Costa Magica??

That's a good question. At first glance, I was thinking, well, I'm sure it's just like other cruise ships...just plug it in! However, with it being a primarily European-sailing vessel, do they have the standard US plug-ins, or do we need an adaptor? Does anyone know?

I'm from the UK so the electrical outlets were different from ours but I don't know if they're the same as the US. I just used a universal adapter - no problem. My electric toothbrush easily works for a week without charging.

We just returned from our Costa Magica cruise. Outlets not a problem for US. I did bring a converter but didn't need it. In our cabin we had one outlet for US and they others were for Europe. I used my curling iron, didn't have a problem. But didn't use it for our video camera didn't want to take the risk with blowing a fuse and it affecting the camera. But I didn't have a problem with either. Have a great time on your cruise.
