Must have printed docs?

You do not need a print-out. But you might want to try to log on to NCL and save an electronic copy of the edocs (PDF or screenshot) to a laptop or smartphone. There are various people that may ask to see your documents before you get to the check-in counter (security at the terminal entrance, the person guarding the Haven/priority line). These people will eventually let you through even if you can't show them anything, but things will probably go faster if you can say "look it's here on my phone" (they will not actually look :p). Once you get to the check-in counter, you'll be fine. :)

The edocs also contain a list of your reserved shows and restaurants and other items, so it useful to have a copy (paper or electronic) in case anything goes wrong with these once you are on board.

I agree with having something to show--even from your phone.

It makes things go quicker through security.

On our last cruise out of NYC--when people in front of us had no documents handy they slowed down the line and actually had to move to the side to wait for someone to come help them.
