laughing husky Posted December 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Going to Mexico in a few weeks and want to buy some dog meds if possible. I know you can human meds cheaper down there, but I was wondering specifically about dog meds....such as heart worm preventative or Rimidyl...Appreciate any information that any one has on the subject...and do I need a script or not... heatescapee Posted January 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Since no one has replied, I'll offer my 2 cents. We used to buy our dog's meds in nearby Mexico and no rx was needed. But I think her meds were "people" ones and I remember one of them had to be cut in half because they weren't available in her small dose.

swedish weave Posted January 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Op Suggestion ---- Take a label from your dog meds and show it to the pharmacist in Mexico. The wording can be interpreted by them.
