Want to either rent a catamaran on st kitts and sail snorkel for day or cross over to Nevis (HOW) and rent cabana at Marriott resort.

1. Need suggestions as to good semi luxury catamaran and what they offer

2.How far from ferry to Marriott on Nevis or can you cross by taxi?

3. Is beach at Nevis pebble shell free

4.is water shell free

We are 6 _8 seniors in fairly good shape

Have been to island at least 10 times so want a pleasant natural day

Any and all suggestions appreciated

Thank you.

Will be there in about 10 days so need some answers

Thanks again

Not an answer to your questions ............. BUT ............. there is a Marriot resort on St. Kitt's where for $35 p/p you can have use of their wonderful property ( pool, cabanas on beach-no shells and a pay for restaurant), which is a short taxi ride from the ship.

Just another option which will lower your total cost.

I live in St Kitts, and I do not think there is a Marriott on Nevis... Do you mean the Four Seasons?

The only way to cross to Nevis is with a ferry or with the catamaran tours.

Hope this help!

Have a wonderful cruise

Thenford gray arranged an excursion to Nevis for us on the ferry as well as a taxi pickup when we arrived in Nevis. The taxi driver met us at the ferry in Nevis and dropped us off right next to the four seasons. There was a small local bar famous for some kind of bee drink and they had chair rentals as well. We were the only 2 people on the beach. The water and sand were both full of shells. Although the beach was gorgeous, I wouldn't recommend again. The ferry ride took 45 minutes and we had to be back on the ferry at 1pm bc the tour operator said the ferry was unpredictable and he wouldn't trust the 3pm ferry to be on time. We had to be on the ship at 4:30. So we only had about 2 hours on the beach.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but....

We took a RC excursion 9/2015 to Nevis from St. Kitts. It is called St. Kitts Catamaran Sail and Nevis Beach Getaway #KTA4. It was a great sail to Nevis and a lovely time on Nevis on a rustic au natural beach. I had Nevis on my Bucket List and this was just what we were looking for.

We are a couple, mid-sixties, and we loved the trip. Not luxury but fun! There was another private company doing a similar catamaran day trip, but we were due back on the ship at 4:30 pm and I was worried we might not make it back in time!
