Dream questions

This is my first time on a Thomson cruise, can anyone tell me the cost of the Ai drinks package and does everyone in the cabin have to purchase it as I don't drink alcohol so would be a waste of money for me?

Is there a self service laundry on board?

Is there a prepaid coffee package for premium coffees?

Any other useful tips would be welcome, thanks.

How much is the the ai? And yes everyone has to purchess it .i am sure there is no laundry. I cannot remember a coffee package . As for tips what I do is go with a open mind .i think what each day has cost me and if I think it is value for money I book again. We got the cruising bug late but we try to go at least once a year . We have two dogs and do not like leaving them otherwise we would be off all the time. Say hello to Ronald in the mdr from terry& Maureen and try to get him to serve you you won't be disappointed .he works at the 2nd not main door of the mdr and lastly enjoy

The price of the drinks package depends on when you book and when you are going. If you have already booked and did not get it at a reduced price then to add it will cost £199 per person per week and everyone in the cabin has to buy it. If you wait till onboard to buy it I think it is £230. I wouldn't buy it if one of you does not drink.

If you have not yet booked it depends when you are going. Last time I checked the price for this summer was £18.20 per person per night but it may still be free for winter 16/17 in the Caribbean.

I have never seen a coffee package either.

There is no self service laundry on Dream unfortunately but there is a laundry service which sometimes has special offers for a bag (although we have never been offered it!)

Thomsons have a free AI package for sailings from October 2016 to April 2017 and it's approximately £10 per person per day for summer 2016. You can use this for alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. They give the incentives to get people to book early, the later you leave it the price goes up or the AI is taken off. You don't have to buy the drinks package, Thomsons charge reasonable prices similar to pub prices, unlike the American cruise lines that charge 15% service charge. If you don't drink much it may be better to just buy the drinks as and when you require. There is fruit juice available at breakfast and you can get cold water, tea and coffee free during the day self service.

Enjoy your cruise:)
