River tubing with Antours

Has anyone had any experience of Antours? I'm interested in river tubing in February. There could be 10 in our group but one is not very mobile, has anyone else had experience with low mobility? Also is it suitable for poor / non swimmers?

we just got back from tour with AnTours a week ago. They were awesome. You are wearing a lifejacket and helmet and the water is not very deep. There are several guides that help you get on and off. They were very responsive via email, i think you can write them and describe the person with the mobility issues and they will be honest about it. But my hubby is not real mobile, he fell off his tube once and they helped him right away get back on. Not a big deal. we had all ages on our tour

Thanks for this. We are going to book now. One more question, should you tip the guide and if so, how much? Just don't want to carry too much cash.

hi, we tipped the guides who were in the water with us separately from the van driver. Hubby doesnt remember for sure but there were SEVEN of us just in our family so that made a difference. i think we tipped like $100 for all the guides to share (there are a LOT of guides in the water helping) but then a smaller amount for the van driver himself (not sure how much $25??? just not sure maybe a little more) sorry.

 

one note -- for this ride i took along a little floatable waterproof small wallet size holder with a lanyard around my neck. Did not take an entire wallet, but we put our cash and all our seapass cards (cruise cards) in that and I kept them safe around my neck. also had a water camera, be sure to take one of those (i used cheapo disposable type)

 

we were able to lock up our stuff in the van and i felt safe with that there, we had no issues whatsoever.
