Labadee question

Recommended Posts

ok, we call that tubing around here.
Where I live tubing is with an inner-tube - which looks like a donut.

I can't figure out why you would refer to riding this item (that actually looks like tube) tubing:D

Ah, America where we park in driveways and drive on parkways.

Tubing here is riding any inflatable towed behind a powerboat. The goal typically is to hang on while the driver of the boat tries to knock you off.

I don't know, but if it is, let me know! We aren't cruising until June but this looks like fun!

When I am on the beach relaxing with an adult beverage and a good book, and one of those banana boats goes by, the people are always screaming and having a great time. ;) :D

Just a bit of trivia....parkways are roads that lead to a park, usually county or state run
That might be true in NY where you live, but what park does the Garden State Parkway lead to? In the Washington DC area there are LOTS of parkways, and I can't think of one that leads to a park. A number of the DC area parkways are under the control of the National Park Service (these generally do not allow trucks, but no Park in sight); the rest of the roads called parkways do allow trucks and have no connection to NPS.
