Cozumel with a 3 year old!!

Any excursion ideas for travelling with a toddler?? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also not too expensive!

Playa Mia attracts lots of families with younger children - they have a nice kiddie water park, nice beach, plus good food/drinks/service.

 

Check their web site - lots of different packages depending upon what you want. Taxi, if you do not book transport through them, will be about $16-17+tip each way for up to 4 passengers in the same cab. Bring your own car seat. Good luck!:)

How does it all work with car seats?? We are travelling from the UK so cannot really bring a carseat and pram on the flight aswell as our luggage?

Not sure internationally, but in the US airlines will check your car seat for free with your other bags. I would tip the driver an extra buck or two for the time spent installing and un-installing the car seat.

 

Not sure about the laws in Mexico on car seats, but the laws of physics apply everywhere. If you choose not to bring a car seat then I would search out excursions where you are on a cruise line sponsored bus that does not require car seats.

 

You might check the family cruise board for more advice - thankfully my children are all grown so now I only get to worry about tuition bills, car insurance, cell phone plans and shopping. :o
