NO 10 plus day cruises out of Galveston in 2017?:(!!!!

I wonder why they would have to discount them, when lots of people wanted longer days and exotic ports

 

All I can say is that it clearly wasn't enough people if so many cabins went un-sold and had to be discounted. While many love the idea of longer cruises, it can be a lot harder logistically (time off work, flying to/from different ports, having to cruise when that one sailing goes out, etc.) Also we would much prefer to go to a home port we're familiar with (FLL/MIA) rather than go out to NOLA or Galveston. For us, that would be a deal breaker. So maybe others have those opinions. That's why I can see these being more successful out of the major hubs, and less so in the "home ports".
