Icy Straits Point Whale Watching Excursion

We are on Royal's Vision of the Seas sailing to Alaska in July 2006. Has anyone taken the whale watching excursion offered by the cruise line in Icy Straits Point? Biggest concern is that we'll all be packed in and not be able to see or move around.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

My family had a great time with Floyd. My 14 year old daughter and I fished on the way back from whale waching. We had a great time.

 

One thing you get to do with Floyd is stop where and when you want. We got to stop to see some deer on the shore. We watched the whale watching ship, from the cruise line, race from the dock to the whales and back. Instead of having to get two charters in a day, Floyd only has to get one, YOU. We would go with Floyd again.

 

He told us that he no longer wanted to combine whale watching with fishing, but, by his website, he is. He has raised his prices a little from this year. He is worth the extra money.
