I will be horrified if we are only allowed $1000 for the two of us on the 34 day cruise in Mar/Apr/May ($30 a day) and even more so for a 42 day cruise in Oct/Nov/Dec ($24 a day).

Mike

Seems unfair, hope you are allowed more than that.

 I cannot even imagine what it would be like to plan for such a long cruise...and the packing list! Oh my!

We won't be doing ship sop scored excursions as we prefer to book privately or to DIY-it. :)

We plan to pre-purchase as possible - DSC, etc. will all be paid in advance at the $1.11 rate.

I didn't purchase my OBC online, I called (after reading this thread, or another like it) weeks ago. The PCC with whom I spoke didn't know of a limit, but from what I understand PCCs are not always the most reliable sources of info,

I'd love to sail for longer than we are, but with three kids in tow, school absences need to be considered. 25 days will be plenty to feel rested and recharged. :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Spend the last 45 minutes on the phone with NCL.

And they confirmed that even if I bought the OBC before January 21st 2016 the maximum amount is 1000$ per reservation

So they are refunding it today to my cc. Should be on my account by 5-7 business days.

My advice? Don't wait until they call you, call them and get YOUR money back!!
