Good lunch restaurant?

Can anyone recommend a nice place for lunch featuring local / creole / caribbean cuisine? Mom and pop places get preference in my book.

Not a lot of places in downtown to eat. When we are in downtown we always go to Big Banana Holding Co. for really good pizza. We have eaten at Millers By The Sea while at the beach. Most recently, we have started doing day passes at a hotel which includes lunch.
