Shanghai Quantum arrival/departure Customs and transport

Will be travelling on the Quantum next month on a round trip from Shanghai.

 

Can someone please confirm the name of the port for Quantum of the Seas ?

 

Have read some reviews taking much of the day to disembark back thru Chinese Customs, (for non Chinese nationals), and the ship could well be delayed due to fog/smog.:eek:

 

Has anyone arrived in Shanghai recently ? Due to arrive at 6am - surely that would give sufficient time for a flight at 6pm ?

 

Appreciate any advice also on transport from the City to the Terminal, and from the Terminal back to Pudong Airport ?

The Quatum usually docks at Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Termina

Haven't been to the cruise port, but on a normal day you should be able to make your flight. However, weather can be unpredictable.

I was in Shanghai last month. Depending on where in the city you are staying, plan for at least one hour to get from point to point. My hotel was in Pudong, New District, and it took one hour to get to the port. Also, at least one hour to get to the airport. Yes, you have sufficient time from port to airport, so there is no rush.

You definitely have plenty of time to make your flight and will have time to visit the city as well.

Make sure that you have your visa to enter China.
