Galleon1234 Posted January 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2016 We are considering taking some because the inside cabins 4F on the Triumph has such limited storage space for a 21 day cruise... Thanks
CoastieBMC Posted January 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2016 They could very well be unstable in any sea conditions! And become a safety hazard
Galleon1234 Posted January 13, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 13, 2016 They are quite stable and only 5 inches tall. We fit fine in the newer ships but the Triumph is old and doesn't even have a refrigerator and no shelves in the closet except for the life jackets. 3 drawers and a small cabinet with 3 very shallow shelves. Galleon1234 Posted January 13, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted January 13, 2016 Has anyone used bed risers on their twin beds on a cruise?
NCTribeFan Posted January 13, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 13, 2016 No, but I've sailed in many interior cabins in single beds on a variety of ship classes and never had any problem storing my luggage under the beds. On Sunshine about 6 weeks ago, two women in an inside for 11 nights, we both left shoes and other items in open suitcases and slid them under the beds; would just pull them out when we needed to retrieve something. Still had room for other luggage under there as well.

Galleon1234 Posted January 13, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted January 13, 2016 Ruthless, did your cabin have 2 night stands or 1? I am guessing they are the same class of ship.
SadieN Posted January 13, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 13, 2016 Why would it being 21 days make that much difference? Difference in packing. Some will pack for 5 or 7 days and repeat. Others will pack for 21 days.

There are laundry rooms:D Or bringing 21 pairs of underwear, 21 tops, 21 bottoms, 21 shoes etc?
