Want to snorkel

Hey i will be visiting nassua for the first time with a Carnival cruise and want to go snorkeling with my girlfriend. However she is not a good swimmer. Is there any close to shore or shallow snorkeling. Or can she snorkel without knowing how to swim.

They provide life jackets whenever you snorkel. As long as you are going with a group, just let the guide know that she isn't a swimmer. I'm guessing she can kick her legs and move her arms with a life jacket on, right?
