Yep, to some degree. I also always check the mattress, etc before even unpacking. In our house, luggage never leaves the garage except to come inside to pack.

 

Do all the people who take special precautions after a cruise do the same thing after a stay in a motel room? I would think it's easier to get bed bugs from a land based room then a cruise ship.

I guess we've just been lucky throughout the years. I'll be a little more cautious in the future - at least checking motel rooms after checking in.
