Has anyone been to this location lately....and also how much was Taxi

It is Reggae Beach Bar located on Cockleshell Bay at the far end of the SE Peninsula. Price will vary depending on how many are sharing the ride. I would expect to pay about $8 US each way.

Taxi is $7.00 each way in a shared ride.

 

I would recommend Spice Mill over Reggae. Reggae is on the far left side of the beach which is very 'shelly' and hard to get in the water. Their chairs are the cheap plastic strapping from the 70's, the biggest issue is the water, which is murky could be from the motor boats that use the dock as a drop off or pick up or the people standing in the water all day drink beer and not leaving the water all day.

 

Spice Mill is on the far right hand side, better quality chairs, the entry into the water is easier, its more upscale and relaxing
