Burney555 Posted October 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2005 My wife & I are travelling on the NCL Spirit in November and looking at booking the above excursion through NCL. At $330 for the both of us it does seem rather expensive but it is something we have always wanted to do. Does anyone here have any experiences or recommendation's? elin Posted October 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2005 I've just booked this for April 2006 directly with Dolphin Discovery. Not sure what the ship is charging, but the Royal Swim (where you do the foot push and the dorsal swim, vs just the touch, kiss and pat that seems to be offered by the cruiselines - I think it's the Dolphin Encounter program that they offer) is $129 US per person. Maximum group of 8. Go to their website and you can call the 1-800 # for more info and to make a reservation. They were extremely nice and helpful. Enjoy, Elin

scottlyn Posted October 24, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2005 We have done this and it is wonderful!! It is well worth the money and so exciting!! We also wanted to do it because I hear that it may not be allowed for much longer due to Dolphin activist groups:( .
