Crew/Officer Assignments

I was just wondering if any crew or officers can request which ship they are assigned to. Anyone know? Are requests honored?

At the end of their contract, the crew can request a ship to go to after their vacation but it does not mean that they get it. If they want to come back to their current ship, that is most likely honored. I am not sure if this is the same for officers.

Yes, I know from conversations with officers that they do request the ship and positions they would like; however, like all businesses, corporate makes the final decision.
