Itinerary times - how accurate are they?

We will be leaving (if everything goes as planned) Progreso at 4:30p and then scheduled to get to Cozumel the next day.

My question is this, on the itinerary it shows Cozumel 9am-4pm. Does the 9am mean that we will be arriving in Cozumel at 9am or that we will be getting off the ship at 9am?

We are just wondering how much time we will have for excursions and my mother read that once the ship arrives it has to get cleared first before we are allowed off and that may take time. Just curious - thanks!

Ships have to pay to park. They are scheduled far in advance.

Get there before 9, won't be allowed to park. Need to stay later than 4,,,, have to pay big bucks.

Ship will dock at 9,,, they will begin allowing 2000 passengers to debarked about 15 or 20 minutes later.

Passengers who purchased ship sponsored excursions will be allowed off first.

Getting off first with ship sponsored excursions is only for tender ports. Cozumel is not a tender port.
