Parking at Bayonne,nj

Has any one used the new garage in Bayonne? If so how was the entrance and exit from the garage? Do you have to wait in the line for cars dropping off and picking up or do they have a separate access? Thanks in advance.

I asked the same question on another thread and from what I understand the traffic pattern hasn't changed from what it was with the old parking lot. I'll be using the garage in April, so I was curious, too. I only use carry on bags so I was hoping to avoid the drop off traffic line.

Just off the Anthem this past Friday and used the parking garage. There is not a separate line for the garage, you line up with the drop offs. Expect a bit of a wait to reach the drop off area, it gets backed up around 11:00 am.

 

When you get close to the drop off, tell the guy directing traffic that you are self parking. He should tell you to skip past the drop off area (slow and congested) and go to the ground level of the garage for luggage drop. You go up a ramp to pay $20/day in advance.

 

The good news is that they have check-in agents at the ground floor of the elevators who will check you in quickly and stamp your set sail pass. Its a very short outside walk to the terminal (about 1 minute).

 

After you go through security, and if the ship is open for boarding, go right on.

 

For departure, we did self assist. We lined up at around 6:00 am, they started at 6:35 and we were on our way home by 6:50am
