questions for ncl gem

ok all you thick lovely hair ladies.....how is the hairdryer that is supplied on the gem? I always take mine along but would love to leave it home but if the hairdryer supplied sucks I will take mine! It takes way too long to dry my hair if the blow dryer is weak.

I also have very thick hair. The hair dryers on the Gem are fine! It is a normal hand held dryer. Not one of those that look like a vacuum!

It is a full size hair blower not a small hotel hair dryer. I have long, thick, wavy hair and the hair dryer worked great. Do not bring one it's one less thing you need to pack.

I have thick short hair, the dryer was ok, not as hot as mine. I kind of complained to myself the whole time. But I won't pack mine because I need room for shoes. :)

My hair is crazy thick and crazy long. With my own hair dryer that's powered like a 747 jet engine, it usually takes me around half an hour to dry my hair. When I was on the Gem in July, it never even left my suitcase; I just used the one one the ship, and it was fine. Maybe not quite 747 material, but it was powerful enough that it didn't hinder me. Just towel dry it first, and you shouldn't notice much difference between the Gem dryer and your own.
