First Mexican Riviera Cruise ~ Excursion Recommendations Please

Recommended Posts

Thanks for taking a look! So we have been on several Caribbean cruises, but have never gone on a (Pacific) Mexican cruise. We are departing on Oct 30th and visiting:

-Cabo San Lucas

-Mazatlan and

-Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We are in our late 30s and traveling with a toddler. We all love the beach...

What excursions, beaches or resorts do you recommend at these ports???

Thanks and merry cruisin'?

Cruisin-Family

Hi cruizin family, We are also on the vision 10/30 we have a roll call thread going come join us. I know some of us are bringing candy to hand out for trick and treat. we booked a private tour in Mazatlan for the 8 of us. In PV wome of our group is doing a zip line tour. In Cabo I would like to do Randi's happy horses, have read alot of good things about her tour. With a toddler it will be interesting finding things you all can do. There are some dolphin swims and such. There is alot of information on the mexico area of CC. Go to ports and click on mexican riviera. I hope this helps.

FYI..pack some warm clothes for the first day at sea, it can be very cold. We did this trip back in July of 2003 and out on deck while at sea between San Diego and Cabo it was cold enough that I had jeans and a sweatshirt on. This might not be the norm but just what we ran into.

I did this cruise last Christmas and the first two sea days it was over 80, and the water was like glass, coming home was another story very windy and 8 to 10 foot waves. I would not do any shopping in Cabo as the prices are higher than in PV or Mzland.
