58Piano Posted January 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Was looking at a cruise next year on the Crown. We loved that ship before. So glad it will be in carribbean in 2017. Has anyone stayed in L105 It is interior cabin right next to the Lotas Spa Do you get any extras from the spa since it is next to it? Is it noisy from Spa users? Or what about the running deck above? We loved being on the Plaza deck last time. Right next to International Cafe But we use the sanctuary and this would be close. I see in the deck plans you can go out onto the front deck near the cabin? Is this a door outside really?
Stevesan Posted January 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) There are photos of your cabin on the following page http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1314375 Edited January 24, 2016 by Stevesan
cvpends Posted January 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Those doors were openable last time we went through them. We didn't try when on Crown a few weeks ago, as we weren't on that deck. On one ship (maybe it was Ruby?) they were locked. Maybe it is up to the captain.
cvpends Posted January 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2016 Oh, and there are no spa extras for the cabins near the spa, plus you can't get to the spa from the lido. You go upstairs, then back down some interior stairs to get to the thermal suite.
molme Posted January 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2016 We have stayed in L104 and it was very good. A short walk to the pool and buffet area and the elevator to go down to the IC or up to Serenity area. We really like this location and would stay there again. The balcony cabins in the front of the ship have a full metal railing that you can't set and see the water. Make sure not to book any of these if you enjoy setting and watching the water go by.
