Rooms on the Conquest

Just wondering how the rooms are on the upper deck of the Conquest? Anywhere we should not book rooms. We will have approx 10-12 rooms.

We just left room 6312 on the Conquest and thought it was great -- no noise from the casino directly below us (save for one afternoon during the finale of the slot tournament where we heard muffled cheers from the crowd for a few minutes), and it had a super convenient mid-ship location.

 

The only areas I would think you might want to avoid for noise on deck 6 would be over the nightclub (6404 area), and possibly over the guitar player at the casino bar who is on the starboard (right) side of the ship (6371 area) as he tended to play late into the night. I suppose the piano bar could generate some noise above, too (6449 area).

We had 6461 & 6469 we did hear the lounge noise but it stopped at the same time each night about 11:30 -midnight. Really was not an issue. If your a night person and don't retire to your room until late then this won't be an issue.

I just got back from Carnival Conquest Room 6255

 

Completely normal balcony room, convenient location by stairs and elevators.

 

However - NOISE from the main theater was bad. If you're not in the room around those times, not a problem.

 

Anything further aft of 6255 (approx) should be OK however, as that is pretty much back of the theater. Anything forward of this should be avoided if theater noise is a concern.

Got off Conquest 1-17 and had 7436 and no problems with noise at all. A/C was too good for me and I had to turn it down at times. Easy two stairs to Lido and coffee in the morning.
