There is a thread that was posted two days ago. A lots of posts. Still awaiting formal confirmation from Celebrity as of a couple hours ago.

 

Think this clarifies things a bit in that it is for all NEW bookings.

If you go through the booking process you now have an option to prepay gratuities.

It's already been confirmed.

 

I did it yesterday with my existing booking

Talked to my TA today. She has No word from Celebrity that gratuities are no longer required on Select Dining.

 

She advised that RCCL no longer requires prepaid gratuities on Select Dining.
