As long as Valentines day is not embarkation day or the last night, it has always been formal night.

Roses to all the women.

Sometimes a special dessert.

Extra advertising to buy chocolate covered strawberries

We've done Feb 14 on a ship the last few years.

Be interesting since there are no more formal nights.

We were on the Solstice in 2013 for both the Super Bowl and Valentines Day. They showed the Super Bowl on the big screen in the theater. Only problem was that due to time zones it was 10 am( we were in Australia). On Valentine's Day all the women got a rose and I think chocolates in the room. I got several roses as we were on a back to back and no one could take them off the ship in Australia.
