jst4fun715 Posted October 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2005 Does anyone know of any hotels near Port Canaveral that let you leave your car there during a cruise? If not, does anyone know how much the parking is at the Port?

momofslg Posted October 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2005 we stayed at a comfort suites( 2 room suite) in October 2003 for 89.99 per night. They let you leave your car there and put you on a shuttle to the pier. They have a schedule for pickups and we were on a later ont than we would like, so the clerk at the counter told us that we could drive up the road to their sister hotel and park your car and catch the shuttle there. When we got to the sister hotel the line for a shuttle was terribly long, so we had the counter clerk call a cab for us. The cab was there in 10 minutes, we hopped in (everyone was jealous) and drove to the pier(5 minute ride). This only cost us $10.00 plus a tip. It was money well spent, we were on the cruise ship 4 hours before our scheduled shuttle pickup. Have a great trip!!!:o :o :o

Goldens Posted October 9, 2005 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2005 We booked a cruise package with Comfort Inn (Cocoa beach for Sept 4-11th cruise on the MOS). The cruise package (which was advertised to include free parking) was about $25.00 more than just for the room. We later decided to fly and changed our reservations and got a cheaper price. Caution.....the standard rooms are NOT comfortable. Strong smell of mildew & mold. The deco was very worn. We were not expecting a lot just a place to lay our heads before our cruise BUT this was not the place! We complained and asked for an upgrade to the suites which was granted. We did pay extra but that was fine with us. The suites are what you expect for Comfort Inn. Clean & comfortable! We cancelled our reservations at the Comfort Inn for after the cruise and stayed at the Radisson. Much better with a great pool. You get what you pay for...sometimes!! KalenaD Posted October 9, 2005 #8 Share Posted October 9, 2005 We stayed at the comfort inn last april pre cruise, It was a little worn but the standard room we were in wasn't bad, it was clean and looked like it had been painted, and carpeted recently. They were doing a lot of hurricane repairs. Location was great, within walking distance of food, stores ect. A block off the beach. Thier website had better prices, we didn't use parking feature. For the price we thought it was fine.
