toopats Posted January 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2016 We are cruising on the Epic in May with another couple. We have adjoining cabins-balconies . Can the divider between the two balconies be opened if requested.
Rare BirdTravels Posted January 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Your room steward should be able to open the balcony doors. It's kinda of a small gap, so you would have peek around the wall at eachother.
Demonyte Posted January 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2016 NCL's official policy is that the dividers are not to be opened but people seem to open them themselves (easy with a knife, or in my case a Leatherman tool) or sometimes even getting help from the room steward. On our recent Getaway cruise our room steward didn't agree to open them (we had three M6's in a row) and had closed them on one day after we left them open - possibly because they were to wash the balconies according to the note left in cabin. lhsail Posted January 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2016 We were told on a recent Jade cruise that they could not be opened for fire safety reasons. We've frequently have had them open on Princess cruises.
