RecoveryDude Posted January 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Hi I need to know if I can personally fax my stock statement to Carnival for my upcoming cruise or do I need to have my TA do it for me? I'd rather do it myself as I am close to sail date ... It has to be submitted 14 days before cruise, right?? Thanks! LaCal Posted January 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Yes I've faxed my own Even when we used a TA... Make sure you write your Name, Booking Number and cabin number on it for good measure
Twintowngirl Posted January 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Or just send via mail, that's how I always do it and haven't had any problems.
NCTribeFan Posted January 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Why send via mail when you can fax or email? Save the paper and the postage. I always email mine and have had my OBC applied in under an hour. Usually, it takes around two days. And yes, I've sent it in myself when booked through a TA. Not sure when you're sailing. I don't send mine in super early. Technically, they don't have to apply it unless you're fairly close to sailing (after all, the idea is that you should be a current shareholder). I sail 5/1, so I'll send mine in after I receive my 1st quarter statement. I'd rather wait than send it early, have it denied and have to re-submit.
