mdublu Posted January 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2016 I may be going crazy, but I'm pretty sure I booked Bayamo on my 2/20 sail date cruise last week as a la carte and now it is a flat $17.70. I guess I don't need to use my UDP now for meal. IDK why this restaurant is not popular. I can have a steak, Italian, French or Benihana any time at home. I'd rather try Bayamo, Food Republic and Pincho.
Rare LMaxwell Posted January 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Bayamo is a $15 Upcharge on the SDP. So maybe it is also a $15 upcharge on UDP. 17.70 is $15 + 18% service charge.
mdublu Posted January 27, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Ah, I guess I know what happened. I booked Bayamo last week then added the UDP yesterday. I'm surprised the website is smart enought to calculate this. Good thing because I'm not. I thought $17.70 looked like an oddball price to charge. I need to remove this thread so people don't waste their time reading it... and see what an idiot I am. :)
Rare LMaxwell Posted January 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Nah, not dumb at all. At least by bringing it up you got an explanation of what had happened. I've been trying to figure out a bunch of things with SDP lately so I only got it yesterday when someone gave me this link. https://www.ncl.com/specialty-dining-package/faq
