tour guide tips

Where is your tour? Generally you probably will want to give a little larger tip to a tour guide in Europe than you would in the Caribbean. Also there is no reason to tip them if they haven't done a good job or if they are independent or own the company at least IMHO. Generally when we were in Europe we gave a $10 tip for the two of us. Since we did most of our tours with 3 other couples who did the same thing the guide made an extra $40 from our tour group. In the Caribbean I have generally tipped less, more like $5 for my wife and I. Sometimes I will also give the bus driver a couple of dollars also.

I will be interested in what other answers you get to your question.

Have a great next cruise.

I usually take a $5 bill to tip for 2 people for a tour that is under 4 hours. I have only been on 1 all day tour and I tipped quite a bit more because the tour guides were outstanding and there were 4 of them.
