Heading on the Granduer to Port Canaveral, Nassau, Coco Cay, and Key West in two weeks. FEB 13!

We usually do the eastern Caribbean.

First time at all these ports. What is your one "Must do" or "Must see" at each of them?

Port Canaveral should be Space Center if you into that. I wouldn't recomen the Disney or Univeral . An hour trip there nd back. I heard some people can't get into park they chose due to maximum capacity.

Nassau stroll the downtown are where the sops are or take water taxi to atlantis with a five minutes walk. Casino and tours are in there. title pricey if you want to do something in there.

Definitely into the space center thing. We have a group of 4. We were thinking of renting a car. From what I see its $50 for a space center ticket at the door. We can rent a car for $40. It's $80 for the excursion price from RC. Way we figured is then we have the car and can go explore. Payless car rental is in walking distance.

In Key West I would recomend that you do a "Trolly Tour" to get a good feel for the area.

Google Key West Trolly Tour for a bunch of options, prices, coupons, etc. :)

Grandeur is the worst ship in the fleet....good luck! :D

Thanks or the input!

As far as Granduer. It's what you make it. Went on Enchantment for a 10 day 2 years ago before they pulled her from Baltimore and we had a blast. The "big" ships are are great but there is something to be said for these smaller older boats. My wife and the couple we cruise with seem to make our own good time wherever we go. So maybe it's just us! The most fun we ever had was on Radiance in Alaska!

We just got back from a 4 night Bahamas Cruise on Enchantment. Coco Cay we rented one of the cabanas at the cabana club. The catch (which they don't really advertise on the website) is they reserve these for Suite guests, but you can sign up for a waitlist so if Suite guests don't make reservations, they get opened up to folks on the waitlist. They're pricey, ours was $250, but if you want some quiet, secluded beach time it is well worth the price. They throw in a cooler of evian water and a fruit plate (and champagne too), plus they also throw in a grilled lunch served at the club. So pretty good value really. Weather was picture perfect, I'd highly recommend checking into this excursion.

I am pretty sure he was kidding about it being the worst ship in the Fleet. Look at how many times he has been on the Grandeur and is booked again on Grandeur 12/16. Pretty sure he is joking with you. He clearly loves it! As do I. Have been on several times and i just love the size which is just perfect to me- not too big, not too small, just a great ship. Great crew, etc.
