Just trying to decide on what to do in Tortola. Looking into Rebel Yell, but can't find pricing for 2 adults. Where would the pick up be? Would we have to taxi to a location from the cruise port? How long of an excursion is it? Only in port until 4.Thanks !

Hi,

We were just in Tortola on January 29th. We were only in port for 5 hours. We booked the Jost Van Dyke excursion on the Rebel Yell. When you exit your ship there is a short walk to the end of the pier where the Rebel Yell is waiting.

As I don't know if the excursion on the Rebel Yell for your cruise is to Jost Van Dyke, my comments are only regarding taking the Rebel Yell to Jost Van Dyke.

We paid $109.00 per person, and there were about 60 of us total on the excursion.

As it is an NCL excursion, you don't have to worry about being back by departure time as the ship will wait for you.

It is a short 45 minute ride to Jost Van Dyke. Claudia was the Rebel Yell's captain and the first mate was Charlotte. On the way there they offer water and answer any questions you may have.

The catamaran pulls right onto the beach, so you only have to walk down a few steps and into (maybe) knee high water and you are on the beach.

On the return trip, Charlotte breaks out some fantastic rum punch and the ride back to the ship seemed to be more fun that the ride to Jost Van Dyke, lol.

There are a few beach bars, but the Rebel Yell brings you to the Soggy Dollar, where beach chairs are complimentary and the bar opens early. If you enjoy alcoholic beverages, you have to try the world famous 'Pain Killer' or "Nilla Killer' at the Soggy Dollar. They are worth the $7.00 !

It is a beautiful beach and won't be very crowded. The sand is white and the water is crystal clear. We had a great time there and our only regret was that we didn't get to have more time at Jost Van Dyke.

Regards,

Vinegarjoe
