avalon007 Posted February 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2016 I don't have tattoos - but would think it would be more logical to get them done at home in case of any issues like infection etc? Unless your whole thing is getting tattoos at different spots round the world? Sort of like the old stitch on patches people used to buy to sew on their windcheater in every port. Except with those if you change your mind in 10 years you can remove them or just put the jacket away. :) For something that is more or less permanent as a tattoo wouldn't you also want to spend time getting to know the tattooist & checking them out reputation wise before committing to them? Obviously I don't know the first thing about what people who get tattoos do or don't think before getting one done, but overseas tattooing seems a little risky to me. Esilef Posted February 3, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Yeah thought that was dumb of me to post that question!!!! No. Just asking for extra info. Just google and try and find a place with good reviews. Email the artist prior to the cruise and get photos of their work and decide what you want done prior.
