Port Limon, Costa Rica

Heading there in December and would welcome some suggestions for activities. Anything that is a DO NOT MISS or anything that is a DO NOT DO THIS?

Smooth Sailings All.

I highly recommend a cruise on the Tortugero Canals. It is probably available on its own or as part of a combination tours called Costa Rica's Favorites (Aerial Tram/Lunch/Canals). Fantastic wildlife and a top-notch guide.

For more responses, I suggest you also post on the Costa Rica board. You will also find tour reviews and threads.

Go to the Costa Rica ports of call thread and see if you can find contact information for Oscar Brown. We had a group go with him last year in Puerto Limon and it was one of the best excursions we've ever done.

And yes, he did take us to the Tortuguero Canals.
