Mike2131 Posted October 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2005 Heading there in December and would welcome some suggestions for activities. Anything that is a DO NOT MISS or anything that is a DO NOT DO THIS? Smooth Sailings All. I highly recommend a cruise on the Tortugero Canals. It is probably available on its own or as part of a combination tours called Costa Rica's Favorites (Aerial Tram/Lunch/Canals). Fantastic wildlife and a top-notch guide. For more responses, I suggest you also post on the Costa Rica board. You will also find tour reviews and threads.

lszu Posted October 10, 2005 #6 Share Posted October 10, 2005 Go to the Costa Rica ports of call thread and see if you can find contact information for Oscar Brown. We had a group go with him last year in Puerto Limon and it was one of the best excursions we've ever done. And yes, he did take us to the Tortuguero Canals.
