suecruises Posted February 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2016 I know this is probably a dumb question - sorry ahead of time - choice of 10 day Caribbean on Royal Princess or 7 days on Regal Princess - basically same price (give or take $100) - same time frame - which would you choose? kendon Posted February 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2016 As for the ships, love them both...basically same difference. For me it would be the 10 day for sure! Enjoy.

Of course parking and gratuities would be a little more but our only other Princess was the 10 day Panama Canal on the Island Princess
trystran72 Posted February 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2016 If time isn't a problem, go for the 10 day! :)
suecruises Posted February 4, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted February 4, 2016 I should add that the 10-day is a balcony gty and the 7-day is a DE balcony (chosen)
Colo Cruiser Posted February 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) I would choose the Regal, as its a year newer. Oh yeah there is a small dipping pool on deck 17 that was added. Royal does not have this, not that we ever used it. I see no issues with either they are pretty much the same. Northender Posted February 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 5, 2016 I see both ships as twins, just not Identical Twins. Very little difference.:) Give me a 10 day cruise anytime vs. a 7.:D
riclop Posted February 5, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 5, 2016 You can't go wrong with either of them.
suecruises Posted February 5, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted February 5, 2016 That's what my husband said and we will be celebrating our 44 year wedding anniversary so we're going on the Royal for 10 days. Thanks for your input!

It was such a cool hangout place, especially in the evening. Other than the infamous no-midship-stairs, it's the only thing I wish was different.
