Disembarkation at Dover, and to the Train Station

We will be leaving Braemar on 14th May at Dover Cruise Terminal and will be travelling home by train.

We hope to arrange a specific timed train as it will much cheaper. We are thinking of leaving it until about 11.30am to allow for any delay, so can I ask what facilities there are at Dover Priory Station to get a coffee or perhaps light meal, and are there plenty of seats in the waiting areas?

Also, we had a 45 minute wait for a taxi the only other time we did not drive down. Is it normally so difficult to get a taxi and would we be better ringing a local taxi company, or hoping to pick one up from a taxi rank at the port? Looks like we will be at CT2 and there are no other ships on the Dover Port schedule for that day.

Any help much appreciated,

Barbara
