Schoifmom Posted February 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2016 The only perk is being able to buy a future cruise certificate or a few certificates. There are no more future cruise certificates. You get OBC and 2 friends and family certificates to be used for the same sailing that you book.

elliair Posted February 6, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) mmckm mmckm is online nowCool Cruiser Sorry I was thinking about Princess, wrong board. I don't see any advantage to book a future cruise on Carnival or even Princess. Take advantage of any "cruise deals" that you receive in your email or at their website. On our future Canadian cruise we have a $850 OBC, something we would have never received if we booked on board. Keep the money in your pocket as long s you can. JohnSpo Posted February 6, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2016 Carnival will give you 2 certificates that friends and family can use. The certificates entitles them to get the same on board credit as you as long as they book the sames cruise as you and do the booking within 2 months of the issue date of the certificate.
