NLH Arizona Posted February 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2016 I can only tell you the machine I plaid and won on. It is a Life of Luxury progressive machine (there are only 3 of them). It was a lot of fun and I won quite a bit on it.
SherriM Posted January 10, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2017 We recently cruised on HAL...and our first NCL cruise will be on the Dawn leaving NOLA 2/5/17. Does the Dawn casino take cash or do you use your room key card to play? Thanks
Rare BirdTravels Posted January 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) We recently cruised on HAL...and our first NCL cruise will be on the Dawn leaving NOLA 2/5/17. Does the Dawn casino take cash or do you use your room key card to play? Thanks The casino takes cash. You can make cash advances with your room key card, but they charge a 3% service charge. The dog has recently been refurbished in the casino is been updated as part of that drydock. The casino has your standard table games and a mix of slot machines. I didn't take note of the table limits and how they change during the busy times of the night. Edited January 10, 2017 by BirdTravels
Abear2 Posted January 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2017 I know the Dawn has been in dry dock since I went last, which was the week before it went into dry dock! I loved the Banana King slot machines, so can anyone tell me if they are still there? I sure hope so! :o

Kruizin'Kath Posted January 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2017 It was so smokey in October that we walked in once and right out again. And we usually go every night before bed.:(

NHL Philly Fan Posted January 19, 2017 #13 Share Posted January 19, 2017 One dealer is especially a lot of fun. His name is Darlon Paul, the women were calling him "Darling Paul". He is a "player's dealer". If he is still there, be sure to play your favorite game when he is dealing. He earned a few personal comment cards from us in November. diamondj Posted January 22, 2017 #14 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Can use cash or room card but will pay extra if you use that. Only played 3 card poker, but smallest limit was $5 other tables went up to $15, $25 etc, then there was a more private area with much larger stakes. Hope that helps a bit.
