Resources Near Galveston Pier?

Hey Galveston residents or frequent visitors: Is there any place within short cab-riding distance of the embarkation point to pick up goodies and forgotten items? Grocery store, Target, drug store?

Near the terminal there are small shops, mostly clothing and souvenirs. Grocery stores and similar are located on or near Seawall Blvd and 61st St. on the opposite side of the island (a short cab ride). There are convenience type stores on the road to the terminal (Harborside Dr.)

 

FYI: The cruise terminals are located near 26th street and the largest grocery store, Kroger is located near 57th street.
