Ken at the beach Posted February 15, 2016 #51 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Just off Oasis and we disembarked at 7:50am and even though the Custom line snaked 6 lines deep, we hopped on a cab and arrived at FLL at 8:30 am for a 11:10 flight. While on line with the masses, noticed an area for "Global Entry" that hardly anyone was using. Global Entry allows for expedited Custom clearance and includes TSA pre-approval. Just applied on line for $100fee and good for 5 years. I think it'll be a valuable tool for us, especially since I'm planning a Med cruise. We were able to use the Global Entry lane on our Oasis cruise last Christmas. We left the ship at 9:30 and were outside the terminal getting our shuttle less than 10 minutes later. There was 1 person ahead of us in line.

cruisinrealtor Posted February 15, 2016 Author #53 Share Posted February 15, 2016 We sat at the aqua theater and watched the new Jurassic park movie. Hardly no one was there though. I'm not even sure it was mentioned in the cruise compass. We just stumbled upon it.
travelingla Posted February 15, 2016 #54 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Thank you all for these tips. We sail out for the Eastern C on Oasis THIS Saturday! :D I have a qt about the disembarkation day..... too bad to end a good week with hassles -- but we've been there / done it before..... so just clarify.... We have a late afternoon flight so don't have to be in a hurry but I'd rather leave early if it is quicker than stick around and get stuck in long lines  Would it be better to do the 'luggage thing' ($20 pp) and then just 'walk off' ?? OR is that possible if they take our luggage??? How does that work? Thanks so much !

summer0621 Posted February 17, 2016 #57 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Will be going with 3 teens. How is the pool area? I've heard the Escape on Norwegian is very crowded.. Is the pool large? How many pools are there? How many hot tubs? What other MAIN ATTRACTIONS did your teens enjoy doing? I think there is the surf simulator, rock climbing wall....Are there water slides? Any info about what teens can do, I would appreciate.... Thanks!
