Panama Canal cruises are expensive. You will get more for your $$ by finding a "Repositioning Cruise" where the ship is changing venue.

Often PC cruises are repos. Some people on our cruise paid $950 for 13 days and this was in the summer peak season too. We paid more because we saw it late in the day but it was still cheap.

If Alaska is out of the question, then a Southern Caribbean cruise round trip from San Juan would be a great second option. We have done it twice on the Adventure of the Seas. Fantastic ship and itinerary.

Check out the links below for pictures on my wife's website made with pictures she took on our cruises.

December 2015 Christmas Cruise Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas

Ports: St. Croix, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Dominica, Barbados

December 2013 Christmas Cruise Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas

Ports: St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Aruba, and Curacao

Happy cruising!
