Belize ruins with 9 year old

We will be in Belize City in a week or so and was wondering who you would recommend to do a ruins tour with a 9 year old. I was thinking Altun Ha as that seems closest.

It's an easy trip. Doesn't take too long. pretty clean. You can climb around on the ruins. I don't see why not, unless your 9 year old isn't all that interested. Book a private vendor like Reggie's Tours so you can have a small party, get there early, and leave when you want.

We were in Belize and we did the ruins and also managed to fit in Zip Line and an ATV tour. Now I would not recommend trying to do all of that as we had to hustle to make it back to the ship!

 

We had two eleven and one ten year old and they really enjoyed the ruins.
