Mediterrania 11/4/2005 Transatlantic Cruise

We are booked on the 11/4/2005 Mediterrania transatlantic crossing from Savona(Genoa) to Fort Lauderdale.

 

Our TA called and said cruise is overbooked and Costa is looking for people willing to change to another cruise plus some comps. Due to other commitments we did not pursue this. Plus, we want to do a transatlantic crossing.

 

Anyone else get such a phone call? Also appreciate any comments on the Mediterrania and transatlantic crossings.
