Upselling on the Escape?

Has anyone been successful with receiving an upsell deal on the Escape when calling the 1-800 #?

Just curious to hear feedback!

Not me! I called 10 days out, and was told nothing was available. :(

my friend who is on the Escape now called 10 days out and went from an inside to a mini suite for $150 p/p. I guess it depends on the week you sail. I sail over spring break (Mar 26), so I don't expect anything, but I will try.

We are booked in May and booked into a guarantee balcony. We just got our cabin assignment and were put into a mini-suite for no charge.

On the Jan 2, 2016 Escape sailing my wife & I called in and went from an Oceanview cabin to a Spa Balcony (with full spa privileges) for $150/pp.

I've called three times this week for the Feb 20 sailing....nothing. I ran out of time to call today. Will try again on Monday, but at this point, I'm not expecting much.....

Called again this morning for our Feb 27th. Went from ID to BX and paid the difference for the posted price! ($110usd pp)

Technically not an upsell as a guarantee is for balcony or higher which is what you are assigned. Congrats and enjoy the extra features!
