Budget Rental Car at Port of New Orleans

We are on NCL out of New Orleans in April and will be renting a car to drive to Florida on our return. I am trying to find out if Budget runs a shuttle from the port and if they do which location they use? I see a 1317 Canal St and a 2 Poydras St location in downtown. If they do not run a shuttle it looks like the Poydras St location is very close to the NCL terminal. Would it be possible to walk there (mapquest shows it is .5 miles from the terminal address). Any help on these locations would be very much appreciated. I tried calling Budget but got their call center and they were not much help. Thanks!

2 Poydras Street is in the Hilton Riverside hotel. There is no shuttle from the cruise terminal, but it would be an easy walk as long as you are not hauling a lot of luggage.

 

If its a nice day you can walk down Convention Center Blvd. to the Hilton. If not so nice you can take the elevator from the terminal up to the Riverwalk. It connects to the Hilton hotel lobby.
