Horseback riding at Mr. Sanchos?

I'm looking for feedback on the horseback riding at Mr. Sanchos. We are booked for riding on Isla Roatan but it is a 30-45 minute drive each way and much more expensive. Thank you!

My children and nieces and nephews did this at Mr Sanchos. It was pretty darn boring. They walk along a path to a beach do a picture (they charge you for the photo).

 

Was it worth it? Eh maybe. But if you are into horseback riding this isn't for you.

How was the rest of the day at Mr. Sanchos? Did your family do any of the other activities? I was thinking of letting them do the ATV/Jet Ski combo. Thanks!

We had the same experience with the horseback riding. Thought it was just mehhhh. Loved Mr. Sancho's. We're going back to the AI side again in July. Just no horseback riding.

We really liked Mr. Sanchos. We have also done Paradise Beach and enjoyed that as well. It is a difficult choice between the two. I would say that Sanchos had better food (we were on all inclusive side). However, we weren't there for the food. We go into town for the best burritos ever! With some incredible chocolates across the street.

We are just back from our cruise. My husband and cousin did the Carnival sponsored horseback ride and island swim in Isla Roatan. They loved it. The staff was attentive and was very helpful to new riders. Afterwards they enjoyed the beautiful private beach. Lunch was available at a reasonable price.
